OnePlus Pulls Android 12 Update For OnePlus 9
Earlier this calendar week, we reported that OnePlus had started to roll out the Android 12 update to the OnePlus nine and 9 Pro smartphones. If y'all haven't updated your phone yet and don't see the update, it is because the company has since announced that they have actually pulled the update for the phones.
This is according to various user reports in which many users were posting on Twitter, Reddit, and OnePlus' forums where they were encountering all manner of bugs that made their phones difficult to use. This included basic phone functions like making or receiving telephone calls, a broken Autofill feature, the disability to modify icons, customize status bar icons, and more than.
According to OnePlus who has since best-selling the bug, "We are aware of the issues caused by the OxygenOS 12 update and our software team is fixing them. Nosotros will suspend this software update and roll out a new iteration as soon as possible." We're not sure when the fixed update volition start rolling out once more, simply for now users will have to await.
